Report: Reports →Inventory→Audit Open Details Report

No restrictions. Preview. Print.

Go through filled Rxs in Pharmacy Drawers, Fridge Door, and bins on Pharmacy counter (Sx Meds and Large Meds).

Check off each medication on the report that is found in pharmacy. If you find an Rx that is not on the list, put it to the side for review at the end.

For those set to the side, go to each patient clipboard

Check the AAH Employee Pets List and check off all employee pets with open Rxs, they have been filled and taken home but are awaiting invoice closure. Also check off all WASTE and In Hosp. Use items.

Items in drawer but not on invoice:

Go to their Patient Visit List. See if they were invoiced for the item already.

Use a report to see history of Patient Visit List

Reports → End of Period → End of Day → Daily Patient Visit List Entries

Choose period (day), start with the day on the printed rx label.

Type in Patient ID for this specific patient in both boxes, Preview.

If it shows the item being deleted, print and provide to Dawn.

This tells us the item was declined/not needed but no follow up happened after removing from PVL. The filled script can now be returned to stock.

If you do not see that it was deleted, check the next few periods (days) for the same.

You can also use hints from the Patient Clipboard like closed invoices or deposits placed to find a specific window of when the changes would have been made.

The item may have been invoiced but not taken by the client, verify using the sign off sheet in reception to see if it was paid for but not signed off by the client. In this case the client needs to be reached out to so they can pick up the medication or receive a refund.
