In Cornerstone, before items are added to an invoice, they are placed on the patient’s Patient Visit List, or PVL. Items on a PVL can be one of four statuses.

No inventory item on a PVL is taken out of the QOH count until it is marked as Performed.

To ensure no items are being missed in Inventory, it is essential to find all PVLs with “Recommended” products and either change them to Performed or remove them from the invoice if the client did not approve and move forward with the products/services on the PVL.
We can run a Patient Visit List report to pull all PVLs with any products on them. We can then sort them by status in an excel sheet.
Reports → Patient → Patient Visit List Report
Run it without selecting any specific patients. See photo.
Select Preview then Save. Save as an .xls file.
Upload to Excel/One Drive. Open the File.
Also open the following file (AAH Clean Up Report Script), which includes a script for automated data cleanup:
Create a new worksheet by pressing + button on botton of page.
Go back to the original file and select all cells. To do this, select the square in the top left corner between the A column and 1 row, as marked in the photo to the right.
Copy the data and paste it into the first cell (A1) in the above file.
Run the “Clean Up AAH Report” Automation via the Automate tab.
Select all of column A and go to Data Tab → Data Tools → Split Text to Columns. Click Apply.
Select all columns and Format as Table from the Home tab under Styles.

To make selection easier, you can use CTRL + SHIFT + Down Arrow then Right Arrow (Holding down CTRL + SHIFT) to select all consecutive filled cells.

Delete the following columns
Sort Status Column, view only R and A (Recommended and Accepted). See Photo.
Select Txn_Date Column, change number format to “Short Date”. See Photo
Sort Txn_Date Column by Oldest to Newest (Smallest to Largest)
Look at each PVL using the Client ID and Patient ID to identify the patient. Determine if the line items were used/performed. If you are unsure, print the PVL out and provide to the Office Manager, or if the DVM listed is in clinic, ask them and their assistant first. Use medical records to help as well.

All AAH Waste and In Hosp Use items should be Performed.
